Simple Salad
This easy salad takes minutes to put together. It is excellent served with roast meats, fried fish or fish cakes.

Equipment
- Large serving bowl
Ingredients
- 8 cups iceberg lettuce chopped 1 large head
- 2 cup cherry or grape tomatoes halved
Dressing
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- pinch salt or to taste
Instructions
- Place prepared lettuce in serving bowl and toss with tomatoes.
- In a small bowl whisk together all the dressing ingredients.
- Drizzle desired amount of dressing over salad and lightly toss.
- Serve immediately.
