1⅔cupsunbleached all purpose flourspooned and leveled
1teaspoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonbaking soda
¼teaspoonsalt
⅔cupgranulated sugar
⅓cupsoftened butter
1egg
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
½cupsour cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375℉.Line baking sheets with silicone liners or parchment paper.
To prepare coating: In a small bowl mix together the 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and the ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Set aside.
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl add ⅖ cup of granulated sugar and butter. Cream together using a hand mixer. Add egg and vanilla and beat until smooth. Add half of the dry ingredients and mix on low speed just until moistened . Next add the sour cream and mix until blended. Switch to wooden spoon and stir in the remaining dry ingredients.
Use a small cookie scoop to measure out dough (about 2 teaspoons). Then roll dough into balls ( dough will be slightly sticky). Roll balls into the cinnamon sugar coating and place on cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated 375℉ oven for 10 minutes. When done transfer to baking rack to cool.
